No, I hadn’t. I figured that since it was in “Labs”, it just wasn’t ready for prime time yet. Plus, I found out that the Apps GMail is an older version than the regular GMail. Sounds like they’ll have to upgrade that before anything else happens. -SM-

Yep, same thing happened to me. I subscribe to a number of mailing lists that were tagged as “Forums” and all of a sudden traffic stopped, or so I thought. Turns out, the SmartLabels were gone and the mail was just going to “All Mail”. Like you, I did the disable and re-enable to get them to work again. I’ve since turned them off and started using my old filters again. Without a way to do proper filters and notify Google of mis-categorized emails, it just wasn’t worth it. It may not be widespread, but it was too aggravating to deal with right now. -SM-

Do you find that your Smart Labels in the “Filters” section of Settings disappear? Mine do and I have to disable and then re-enable Smart Labels for them to come back. If I don’t do this, my incoming mail does not get smart labeled. Once I re-enable, I have to wait for it to relabel some emails and then I have to fix those that are not labeled correctly. It’s a hassle so I’ve turned Smart Labels off for now. Only one other person has posted in the help forums about this so perhaps it’s not a widespread issue. This is all concerning Google Apps and Smart Labels.
